The Annual West Australian Commercial Bread and Pastry Competition for 2025

The Baking Industry Awards Competition WA is the true “Olympics of baking” across Australia. There can only be one 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winner.
This year we had a record number of approximately 400 individual entries from over 40 bakery entries across WA, entering the Baking Industry Awards Competition.
A brand new award, called the Karel van Styn Baking Excellence Award 2025, which was judged from all entries across the board, was awarded to Miami Bakehouse!

2025 GALA DINNER AND AWARDS NIGHT
SATURDAY, 2ND OF AUGUST 2025
We recently held our amazing Awards celebration evening presented by our Master of Ceremony Adrian Barich from Channel 7 Sports.
The night included a delicious 3 course dinner and drinks and was filled with 5-star live entertainment: Perth’s awesome band “Switch”, “Switch Duo” music and Award presentations.
Awards presented included the 2025 Baking Industry awards in Pastry and Bread classes, the AG (Tony) Noonan Award Apprentice of the Year award, the inaugural Karel van Styn Baking Excellence Award, Champion Exhibit in both Bread and Pastry and the WA’s Best Pie of the Year Award!
