BIAWA Annual Commercial Bread and Pastry Competition 2026
Hi Bakers/Pastry Chefs/Home Bakers/Apprentices
We are excited to announce that entries are now officially open for the Baking Industry Association of WA; Baking Industry Awards Competition for 2026 which are to be held on Wednesday the 27th of May 2026!
Entries for the competition close at 12pm noon on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
What’s NEW for the competition this year:
- Total of 60 classes in bread and pastry.
- Includes 16 Gourmet classes – unlimited entries are allowed in Gourmet classes – allowing opportunity to be creative.
- Entrants in Gourmet classes are able to additionally receive Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal Certificates, for their products, based on their results.
- 10 Open Individual classes: Including 5 Gourmet Classes – unlimited entries are allowed for Gourmet classes. These classes are open to all home bakers, apprentices, bakers and pastry cooks, with no ABN required.
